A skier remotely triggered this soft slab avalanache on the Football Field south of Bridger Bowl. Fortunately the skier was able to ride off the slab and not get dragged over the cliffs below. This slope already avalanched once this year, and this slide is a repteater. Only 4-5 inches of new snow with some wind was enough to create a cohesive slab which failed on layer of depth hoar near the ground. Photo:GNFAC
