Buried Weak Layer - Lionhead

 In the Lionhead area near West Yellowstone a buried layer of surface hoar was found on a NE facing slope arouind 8000 ft.  This layer did not produce unstable results in stability tests, but is something to look for and assess when riding in the area.  Photo GNFAC
